Wisconsin is above average in the areas of economy and health, and public safety. The state has the best high school graduation rate in the nation and one of the best rates of associate degree attainment. Much of the state is health insured, has low food insecurity, and has a well funded public pension system.

Wisconsin is average in many measures, but is below average in transportation infrastructure. The state has poor measures in the number of graduate and professional degrees. Wisconsin also has very high tax burdens at the state and local level.

Recommendations
Infrastructure should be the main focus for Wisconsin’s government. Following these improvements, lowering the tax burden and encouraging advanced degrees attainment and migration into the state is recommended for Wisconsin.
